Something you must know about him :
Advait Pradeep Patil (born on 13 April 2014) is a chess enthusiast. Playing chess is more like a daily routine for him. He developed interest in chess at the age of four. He used to watch animated videos on chesskid.com and also help his father in arranging pieces on the chess board. He used to play with chess pieces more than any other toys. His father saw his interest and decided to make this kid earn name in chess. Advait being a quick learner got the basic understanding of chess pieces at the age of four. Soon he started playing chess with his father. As of now he owns a YouTube channel by the name Malhar's Chess Academy where he posts videos related to simple checkmates.
Tournaments played by Advait: - He is an active player on lichess.org. He has played a fide rated tournament i.e. 2nd J.J. Trophy All India Fide Rating blitz chess tournament (Indore) and state level Rapid Chess tournament 2020 organised by Nashik Sindhi Social Group and Botvinnik Chess School (Nashik). He was the youngest player in both the tournaments and had been appreciated for his games.
His mentors: -
His first mentor is his father Mr. Pradeep S. Patil who works as assistant professor at R.C. Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Shirpur. He loves playing chess and has played many fide rated tournaments across all formats.
His second mentor is Mr. Hemant B. Patil who is currently pursuing M.C.M. at I.M.R.D. Shirpur. He is a fide rated chess player. It is due to his untiring efforts that have shaped Advait's Chess playing abilities. He has constantly encouraged Advait and has been more than a professional coach for him in his early days of learning chess.
Advait's dream: - At the mere age of 6 years Advait dreams to challenge GM Magnus Carlsen one day in future. Hope he keeps playing chess and achieves his dream.
Message for Chess lovers: - Chess is not just a game. Its more related to our lives. It teaches us to be down to earth when we win, humble but focussed for next challenges, the ability to let go small things (sacrifice) when we look at the bigger picture (Checkmate) and above all it teaches us not to be greedy because if you are greedy your opponent will checkmate you.

last but not the least Chess is not always about winning it's just about learning and so is life....
